1. Who we are

This policy is published by Geekay Infotech Private Limited (“Geekay”, “we”, “us”), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For personal data you share with us through www.geekayinfotech.com, we act as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

This policy covers this website, the Ask NEO website assistant, and the enquiries, sign-ups and applications you send us through them. It does not cover the websites of our clients, partners or sister concerns, which have their own policies.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries (Connect us form and Ask NEO): your name, work email, company, role, phone number if you choose to give it, area of interest, what you would like to improve and your preferred contact method.
  • Early-access sign-ups for our products: your name, work email, company and team size.
  • Ask NEO conversations: the questions you type and the assistant’s answers.
  • Job applications: the details you send by email, such as your name, contact details, CV and experience.
  • Other correspondence: anything you send us by email or phone.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit, to deliver the site and protect it from misuse.
  • Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Your theme choice (light or dark) is stored in your browser only.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data only for the purpose for which you shared it:

  • to respond to your enquiry and to scope and deliver any service you ask about;
  • to tell you when a product you signed up for becomes available;
  • to answer your questions through Ask NEO and to improve its answers;
  • to consider your job application and contact you about it;
  • to keep this website secure and working properly; and
  • to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick a consent box or choose to contact us, or where otherwise permitted by the DPDP Act. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to receive it.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above, with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and analytics), Sanity (website content management), Web3Forms (delivery of form submissions by email), Anthropic (the AI model that generates Ask NEO’s answers) and our email provider;
  • Authorities where we are required to by law, court order or a lawful request; and
  • Professional advisers such as auditors and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.

Some of these providers process data outside India. Where this happens, we do so only as permitted under the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

5. How long we keep it

Ask NEO conversations are deleted after 30 days. Enquiries and sign-ups are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, or as long as the law requires. When data is no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent, we delete it unless we must keep it to comply with law.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricting access to people who need it for their work. Ask NEO has no access to our internal systems. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it;
  • have your grievances addressed by us; and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, email us using the details below. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within the time limits set by law, and in any case within 90 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
